Who James is
I describe myself as a creative problem solver. As a London based multi-disciplined designer, I choose to see possibility over restriction and approach all projects with a fresh perspective using the experience and passion gained from my mixed design background. I have worked on a huge variety of projects from branding and costume design, to a design panelist in re-developing South Bank, and am always searching for a new challenge.
How can I be of assistance to you?
I offer many services, from consulting and brain storming, to creative direction and the complete design service from concept to completion. With experience in a selection of design disciplines across spatial design and digital design, the services I offer enable me to be involved as little or as much as the project requires. You may have an idea but like help with developing it into something more, or a message that you want to communicate in a creative way but not sure how. Whatever your project, please feel free to contact me using the form below and I will be in touch shortly.
No project too big
I am often involved on large scale projects and although I offer a wide range of services, I am fully aware of my capability and know when a project requires more. Through my experience on varied projects I have been fortunate enough to work with some truly talented individuals and groups from construction teams through to freelance animators and performers. No matter the scale or type of project, I have a strong list of collaborators on which to call. To know more about how this could apply to your project, simply fill in the form below with your enquiry and I will respond efficiently.
"James is a creative thinker, armed with all the skills needed for a competent designer. His thought process was interesting to be a part of and it was great to see his ideas develop and see his excitement when bought to life. The confidence he has in his skills and delivering and presenting ideas was refreshing to see! "
Arjun Mistry, Lifestyle Marketing Executive for PUMA
"I have known James Sutton from Parkour Generations as part of the specialist team looking at the Southbank Centre's (SBC) Hungerford Bridge site for parkour, skateboarding, bmx and street arts - and for which I acted as the one of the lead consultants for the SBC. Situated in central London on a highly visible public site, this £1 million project has been extraordinarily demanding in terms of design, public consultation and local politics.
As the designated expert for parkour, James drew on all his knowledge and skills to provide outstanding information and guidance on all aspects of parkour. Ranging from attention to detail and highly specific direction to the design side of the project, through to a careful consideration of the social and political aspects of the development, Jamesí input has been highly instrumental and valuable. I would recommend him extremely highly to anyone undertaking work in this area."
Prof Iain Borden, Bartlett School of Architecture
"Endlessly creative and highly professional, James is a boon to our Design Department and is leading the field in parkour facility / equipment design and functionality."
Dan Edwardes, Owner/Founder, Parkour Generations
